Andrew Yang Appoints André Richardson as Senior Advisor for Politics & Strategy

André brings to the campaign nearly 20 years of experience as one of New York’s  top political and campaigns strategists, ideating and guiding on-the-ground strategies to reach the right voters, with the right message, and turn them out to win elections. André also founded the Build the Bench organization, helping create a new ecosystem for people of color to organize and mobilize in New York and building a movement towards political unification for Black and Brown people that engages prospective young political leaders, artists, and entertainers of color who have a passion for civic engagement and social responsibility. In 2019 and 2020, André was named to City & State’s Brooklyn Power 50 List. He graduated from New Jersey City University.
